Streching your dollar around Wheaton

Image result for bertuccis pizza
As a winter sports athlete I spend nearly all of my Christmas Break on campus here at Wheaton. For a good amount of that time the college is completely closed which includes the dining halls. As a result we are given meal money to  venture out and buy our own food. However the college is not the most generous when it comes to this money and we end up with about $7 per meal. Due to this shortage in money given by the college and my lack or personal money I have become quite good at stretching a dollar while managing to still eat well. So here are my personal top 3 places for maximum food  while on a budget.
1.       Norton house of pizza- While the pizza and subs are priced at normal prices here I find the dinner platter to be where the bargains are. $8.75 for a buffalo chicken finger dinner with French fries or $7.75 for a double cheeseburger dinner are my go to’s. They are both pretty good and allow maximum food for a cheap price.
2.       Bertuccis-  Now this one may come as a surprise because Bertucci’s is not commonly  known as a place with cheap food. However with the correct use of online ordering a coupon code one is able to get a pizza, salad and rolls for a total of $10.
3.       Dominos- This is the obvious one in the group. Dominos is a hotspot  in every college town. The 2 for $12 deal allows one to get an entire two topping medium pizza to themselves for $6. Now that’s a tough deal to beat.
These are my top three food places for stretching the dollar and I will use all of them this upcoming winter break.
